Post -4 My Experiance

After really sitting down and thinking about my Service experience, I had one pretty big thought/emotion. I felt as if the assignment of completing 30 hours was a very easy task. Including myself many kids at Saint Joe really dreaded having to go through them. After going once or twice, I thought to myself how easy this was. First, I was enjoying myself and second the 30 hours flew by. I went through just a couple hours after school a couple times a week to make a huge impact in these kids days.
When I thought of an artistic "object" that would have expressed what I felt about my experience, I immediately thought; Music! I enjoy music a lot and as i glanced through my Itunes Library and some music videos online, I thought of a great Jack Johnson song. The song is called, "Good People" and it is off the album called, "In Between Dreams." When i listen to this song and think about my service it immediately makes me think about; "Really, Where have all the Good people gone?" I feel as if this is a lot like service in general. It is really so easy to help out somewhere, whether that be helping kids at a daycare, seniors at a nursing home, or physically disabled people, it is real simple. I feel as if Jack Johnson is saying, "Really where have all the easy, laid back, helping, and loving people gone.?
